Latest Obsession

My latest obsession has been açaí bowls as you can tell on my Instagram. I got requests to share my açaí bowl recipe so I thought I would share! I decided to make açaí bowls at home after looking up recipes online and found how easy it was. I went to whole foods and picked up the ingredients pictured above. I substituted almond coconut milk instead of regular milk and chose coconut flakes, chia seeds, and fruits as my choice of toppings.
Base recipe of the açaí bowl:
- 1/2 cup of almond coconut milk
- 1 pack of açaí berry puree
- frozen banana (for a thick consistency)
- frozen mixed berries

base recipe + toppings: blueberry, coconut flakes, sliced banana, and chia seeds
base recipe + toppings: sliced banana, kiwi, strawberry, blueberry, coconut flakes and chia seeds
base recipe + toppings: blackberry, sliced banana, raspberry, and coconut flakes

  6. Ahhh, this look so good! I have the Sambazon Acai packets just sitting in my freezer and still have yet to use them >.< I think i'll try one of these out when I have some friends over since they've been asking me to make this for them! Lolz
