Paris Paris Paris

Paris, you take my breath away. I planned my day the night before and decided to spend the day in arrondissement 1-6. My friend Sarah and I decided to have breakfast at Café de Flore to fuel up before we started our day. Most of our day was spent at the Louvre, Palais Royal, and Notre Dame.
Here's my schedule for day two in Paris (Sat):
-Breakfast at Café de Flore (6th arr) - incredibly beautiful cafe. Sit outside if there are seats, it does get busy so I would suggest getting there early. Everything is delicious but pricey, I recommend their orange juice - soooo good! I had their bacon with sunny side up eggs and fresh fruits on the side, amazing.
-Walked around for a little bit and stumbled upon cute cafes and pianists. Why is everything so dreamy in Paris?
-Took the metro to the Louvre (1st arr), the line wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. I got there around 11am and waited only for 15 minutes to get in. It's the world's largest museum and it's definitely worth a visit, they have amazing exhibitions. I spent about 2-3 hours inside the Louvre before heading out, I would take your time and not rush looking at each exhibition. My favorite exhibit would have to be the sculptures when you first enter and Monet's artworks.
-After leaving the Louvre I went to the garden in front of the Louvre, Jardin des Tuileries. Paris has amazing gardens and this one is no exception. We sat down to let our feet rest before heading to our next destination. I bought some chestnuts before heading back to the Louvre for photos. Tip: Don't buy the chestnuts, they were very dry and not worth 3 euros.
-I went back to the Louvre to take photos. So picturesque! There's an area where you can stand on top of a square pedestal to take photos in front of the Louvre.
-Walked to Palais Royal (1st arr), probably the area I was most excited about. This is my favorite area! It's a popular spot and I can see why. Again...very picturesque! Jardin du Palais Royal, so beautiful. All the trees are lined up so perfectly, literally took my breath away. I didn't want to leave. I went to Maison Kitsuné to get a drink and try their sorbet. Their sorbet is very sweet but delicious, try their strawberry flavor!
-We took the metro to Notre Dame (4th arr), a very busy area. The line to go inside Notre Dame was the very long so we just admired it from afar. It's free to go inside but to go to the tower you need to pay. The pictures from the top look amazing, definitely need to go again next time I'm in Paris. Gorgeous cathedral!
-I was super excited to go to L'As du Fallafel (3rd arr), but they were closed. We walked around and went to Bagelstein instead. I created my own bagel and it was pretty amazing.
-Took the metro back home and planned for the itinerary for the next day.

Day 3 will be up tomorrow, thank you for reading :)

Love, Sharon
