How I Keep Myself Busy

I've been finding ways to keep myself busy during this pandemic to keep myself sane and also from binge eating. One thing I realized was that I'm a hoarder although I'd like to think that I'm not. When I receive PR packages it ends up piling up in my room and I don't organize my room until much later. You know it's bad when your boyfriend gifts you a makeup organizer. I've been trying to clean my space more often than later so I can make it a healthy habit.

Staying at home can get boring, but I've become a homebody over the past several years. I'm embarrassed to say but I only know how to cook one or two recipes, but staying in has encouraged me to test out new recipes. I'm trying to learn how to make Korean dishes from my mom since I've been staying home. Watching YouTube videos has also been keeping me up at night. My favorite YouTube channel is Haegreendal, it's filmed so beautifully and it's so calming.

Now that the weather has been nicer I'm looking forward to sitting on the deck and reading a good book. A lot of day-to-day routines like going outside freely is something I won't take for granted anymore. It's been nice seeing the cherry blossoms bloom around the neighborhood, it gives me hope that something better is yet to come.

Start something that you've been thinking of but never got to. For me it's starting to paint again, practice Korean, and also starting a plant collection!

I hope everyone is staying healthy and safe, sending lots of love xx

Love, Sharon
