Wow I can't believe it's already midway through January! Over the past couple of weeks we were able to transform our bedroom - it truly was a labor of love. We swapped out the carpet for vinyl plank flooring, took out the baseboards and replaced it with modern baseboards, and painted the room white. To anyone who DIY's, a big round of applause to you. Due to unforeseen circumstances with our contractor ghosting us after months of planning renovations for our home, we decided to DIY what we could. My husband definitely deserves all of the praise, I just was his assistant who helped him when he needed an extra hands. I am so happy with how it turned out and am excited to see how the rest of the house will look in the upcoming months. Next month we'll be doing the flooring for the living room once professionals come in to replace the living room joist and beams.
I've been busy also working and planning on something I've dreamed of. Hopefully in the summer I'll be able to share with you what I've been excited about! January has been a month of hope for what's yet to come :) I'm wishing everyone a wonderful year filled with many blessings!
