Yesterday You Said Tomorrow

A little late but Happy New Years, so excited for 2015! 2014 was a year filled with ups and downs but a year full of blessings in disguise. I'm hoping to share more of my personal life on this blog as a way to document my life and for a chance to connect with you all, to show that my life isn't perfect although it may appear to be.

I wanted to share some of my highs and lows of 2014:
Highs | I think 2014 was a year in which I grew a lot personally and found life long friends along the way. Lost some friends along the way but also mended broken relationships, it's funny how timing works. I've learned to trust myself and to chase after my dreams instead of doubting and asking myself "what if". You never really know how strong you are until you actually do it, one of my favorite quotes from 2014 is "everything you want is on the other side of fear". I spent a lot of time with family and friends this year and created unforgettable moments that were filled with laughter. It's been a blissful year given the opportunities I've had collaborating with different brands and being my own boss (I still can't believe it). Although I've never revealed myself it's amazing to see the support I receive from posting 4x4 photos on my Instagram and am thankful for each and every one of you.

Lows | Although there were many high moments in 2014 there were as equally as many lows. 2014 was a tough year for me because although I did grow as an individual, it took a lot of time to accept criticism and to be okay with my flaws. My dog which I've grown up with since elementary school up until now passed away from cancer and it was one of the hardest goodbyes. Learning from my mistakes and the choices I made were difficult because I was living life with regrets, but one thing I learned is you need to hit rock bottom before you realize your purpose and potential. It makes me laugh to look back at the moments when I was stressed out and bawling my eyes because life is beautiful and you shouldn't worry about silly, little things.

I'm looking forward to 2015 and can't wait to see what the new year has in store for everyone! Hope that you take a leap of faith and do what you truly love and am passionate about. Next post I'll be sharing how I started my Instagram!
