Happy Valentine's Day! Hope everyone has a lovely day with their loved ones, whether it be with that special someone or with friends. I'll keep this post short and simple and share my thoughts on what I think love is.
Love is...patient, selfless, encouraging, respectful, and forgiving. From my personal experience I feel like these all go hand in hand and without one it's hard to have a healthy, long lasting relationship. But I think love first starts with yourself. Love yourself first so you know what you deserve.
1 Corinthians 13:4-8
Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protect, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails.
