Weekend Trip To The Big Apple

I went back to New York City over the past couple of days to hang out with my sister since she wanted to go back and visit NYU. Sadly when we arrived on Saturday it started to drizzle, but the sky started to clear up just in time to enjoy the city. This time around I did some research beforehand and tried out new places for brunch, I highly recommend Dudleys and Cafe Henrie! I finally walked the Brooklyn Bridge which was shorter than I imagined. In the past I walked the Williamsburg Bridge twice thinking it was the Brooklyn Bridge (not sure how that happened). Brooklyn Bridge is truly a beauty and I really recommend anyone visiting New York to walk the bridge and head over to the park in Dumbo. Gorgeous view of Manhattan if you sit down in the park! My sister and I went to the flea market and the smell of the truffle fries in the air felt like heaven. This trip by far was one of my favorite trips to NYC and it was more meaningful because I went with my sister. We finally walked the Brooklyn Bridge together and stayed up late night reminiscing memories from our childhood. Excited for our trip to Cali in the fall - can't wait. See you again New York!

Love, Sharon
