Bangkok Photo Diary

I had a short stay in Bangkok so I apologize for the lack of photos. I didn't have a chance to take photos with my dslr and instead shot photos with my iPhone. Most of my trip consisted of eating and sightseeing in Bangkok. I would say one of my favorite areas was Sukhumvit and would recommend staying in the area since it has everything. I was surprised at how modern and developed Bangkok was although some areas aren't, but one thing I recommend is taking their local bus. I think it really captures the heart of Thailand and it's interesting to see how the locals live. I was looking forward to Chatuchak Market but was underwhelmed when I arrived, and instead would recommend Asiatique if you had to choose between the two. The highlight of my trip was when my uber driver took me around Chatuchak Market and shared some of his honey roasted pork. He was so sweet and shared his tips on where to go in Bangkok. One thing I would like to emphasize is that you should use bottled water for everything, including brushing your teeth. Bangkok is such a beautiful city and I wish I could've explored more during my stay.

Highlights of my visit:
*I recommend going

Places I wish I visited:
-True Love Cafe (husky dog cafe)

Eats:
-Roast (their pasta is pretty amazing!)
-Not Just Another Cup (sooo good)
-street food (35 baht for pad thai, about $1)
-coconut water
-coconut ice cream

Love, Sharon
