Beauty Corner

I love this quote, one that keeps me positive and keeps me thinking about what's yet to come.

Keep some room in your heart for the unimaginable - Mary Oliver

I thought I would share some items in my beauty corner on top of my dresser. These are beauty products I've been using - some that I continue to repurchase and new products from brands I've recently discovered. I went on a mini shopping spree since Sephora had their 20% off sale (which ends today).

For skincare I've been using Maycoop Raw Sauce for awhile (on my fourth bottle now) but I've been switching it on and off with Saturday Skin's essence. I like the gel consistency and pink packaging - I'm a sucker for good packaging. I also just placed an order for their face masks - crossing my fingers and hoping it works out for me. Sadly their face mist didn't live up to the hype. I have a couple of favorite eye creams, including Philosphy's renewed hope in a jar. I'm switching between Philosophy and Clinique's eye cream right now. Other favorites are from Tarte and Jo Malone. I also introduce this lactic acid serum into my skincare which has been slowly evening out my skin tone. I'm currently using the 5% but the brand also has 10% available if you're looking for something stronger. My favorite moisturizer is Ole Henriksen sheer transformation - one my fifth jar now. I also caved in and bought Dyson x Ouai set from Sephora, testing out to see what the hype is!

For makeup I've been using YSL's matte lip stains and lipsticks (just a hint) for a pop of color on my lips. NARS orgasm has been my go to blush, as well as Laura Mercier's la vie en rose blush - the perfect blush shade. Bobbi Brown's trio highlighter has also been my favorite, love all three shades that compliments any skin tone. Some of the brushes I use are from ELF (only $3), Tarte, and Bobbi Brown. I also stocked up on Fenty Beauty! There were such rave reviews so I thought I would give it a try.

Current perfumes on rotation are Jo Malone Red Roses, Chanel Gabrielle, and Maison Margiela Blur. Favorite candles at the moment are Diptyque, Jo Malone, Viktor & Rolf, and Aerin (so good!).

Any favorite products you would recommend for me to try?

Love, Sharon
